The UK CAA approved title is “Gyroplane”, and gyroplanes are a very affordable way to fly.
GyroplaneTrain is based at Shobdon in Herefordshire in the glorious countryside under a huge area of unrestricted airspace – ideal for enjoying flight training and the freedom of flight when qualified.
We offer full PPL(G) - private pilot’s licence (gyroplane) training.
Students often remark that the joy of flying reminds them of the sense of freedom that driving gave originally but has long since disappeared, in a world of multiple speed limits and congestion.
The course is absorbing and challenging, containing practical flying elements as well as ground school for the theoretical subjects.
